Movies that I actually would like to see sequels to!

Hollywood has done so many sequels to movies that never should have had them in the first place ( The Matrix, Fast & The Furious,Highlander) but there are actually some movies that I think could have had a sequel or two and turned out great! Here is a list:

1. Gremlins - I liked part 2 despite what some critics thought. Movies that only have a part 2 bug me for some reason and I think Gizmo still has some life left in him. Maybe we could go to China where Mogwai's are from and see them in their natural environment. I think it could be cool!

2. Ghostbusters - I've heard rumors of a part 3 but those are just rumors at this point. This is such a great fun franchise and I think there are more stories to be told here. I would like to see a passing of the torch to some new younger actors that could match comedic acting chops with the likes of Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd.

3. Men In Black - Another series like Ghostbusters that I feel still has stories to tell and be alot of fun.

4. The Goonies - The original is one of the greatest kids movies of all time. Why not bring back the gang now in their 30's and go on one more great adventure!! Hell let's even get Cyndi Lauper to come back and do a new tune for the soundtrack!

5. Nightbreed - I know most of you will be scratching your heads at this one going," What the hell is this?" If you are a horror movie fan and have never seen Nightbreed, well then friend you have been missing out! First off it's an adaption of Clive Barker's novel "Cabal". The flick has it all for horror fans: Tons and tons of monsters, naked women, naked monsters lol, creepy serial killer, blood, rampaging rednecks, and to top it all off Danny Elfman composes the music for the movie. It's one of my fave horror movies and the ending leaves it wide open for sequels.

6. This isn't a movie per se but I would like to see a movie from Quentin Tarintino that would cross over some of his characters from his previous movies. He has stated before that his characters all inhabit the same universe like director Kevin Smith's movies do.

7. Robocop - Yes they have had 3 movies and only the first two were any good. I would like to see a big budget 4th movie. One that would return the series to its darker roots and make officer Murphy a bad ass mofo once again!!
