I miss waking up in the morning to a beautiful face. To have that warm feeling inside of completeness and fulfillment, to feel on top of the world. I miss kissing a woman's lips every day. I want to feel in love again. True love and not puppy dog love. I don't believe in love at first site. It's a myth.... You can see someone and have an instant connection but to love someone you truly have to know them. I want to walk on the beach holding hands with that special woman. I knew all this once...I loved her with all my being and she claimed the same for me...however she lied. Never before had I felt such pain. I felt like she damaged my soul! I don't want to close myself out but I'm very cautious now. When love does come calling I want to be there to answer it. Will it happen again? I hope so. Soon? Well that would be fantastic but I would never want to rush anything. I know where that leads. Some days are always easier or harder than others. All I know is that I will always try my damndest to keep my spirits up! I have some truly wonderful friends and family who are my biggest supports and I don't know what I would do without them!!!
Thank you to those whom have read this. It's a letter from a big guy with an even bigger heart :)
Cheers

Facebook could use some work!!
I really don't need to tell the masses that MySpace has become like the internet's red headed step-child; neglected and tossed aside like an old bag of moldy tangerines. Anyone who is anyone is now on either Facebook or Twitter or both. I am the later. I believe that the reason why Facebook is the new fave of internet goers is because of it's simplicity. Even an old biddy can make herself a Facebook page in a matter of minutes. MySpace would require you to do a bit more and if you wanted to "pimp your profile" you would have to have some HTML knowledge.
I personally liked MySpace more. I like to be able to customize the holy hell out of stuff, but then again I'm an artist so go figure! I still have a MySpace for my graphic art buisness, but that is it. Facebook is truly an American product because it goes along with our ten minute long attention spans. Facebook changes their format about once every two to three months. I don't know how many times now that I have fired up my pc and clicked on Facebook only to see everything has been switched around!
I have enjoyed being able to catch up with family and friends whom I haven't seen or can't see because of distance. That is a huge plus for Facebook. What I don't like, and this may be just me here, is that there is a box in the upper right corner of the screen which shows you people you may know. Almost every time I do this it always shows my ex girlfriend and her daughter on the page. I have nothing against my ex's daughter, I still think she is a wonderful child, but her mother is a goddamn nut whom I never ever want anything to do with again!
I should note that this is Karnam I'm talking about and not my child's mother!! Just to clarify here kids! Anyhow I wish you could edit this feature on Facebook or delete some of the people it suggests. If there is a way of doing this can someone please tell me how! Facebook also has a crap ton of I guess you would call them video games? Mafia Wars, Farmtown, Farmville, Youville,Pirates,etc.,etc.... All free but if you want to get to really high levels then you have to pay REAL money to do so!
I'm sure in a year or so there will be another community site that the masses will flock to and then Facebook will join MySpace in the abyss.
Cheers!!

There's a change a happenin ....I can feel it!!
Well since the 8 eyed beast known as MySpace has all but died the way of the hula hoop and Chumbawumba, I have decided to continue my blogging here! It goes by the same title even to keep it simple. If there are those of you whom were never on myspace at all let me give you a run down. Basically my blogs run the gamot from movie reviews to my personal life happenings. I hope though with every blog at the very least I am entertaining!
This past weekend I attended the Emerald City Comic Con (or ECCC for short) in Seattle. It was a blast and a half for a big ol' geek like myself! I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get within 50 feet of Leonard Nimoy or Stan Lee to get a picture, but oh well life goes on!!! It was great because I got to hang out with my good buddy Rob there, whom I haven't seen for close to two years! The major artists for Marvel and DC comics were charging an astronomical amount of money for sketches this year! Many were charging 75-100 dollars just for a pencil sketch!!
I also got to hang with my good friends Aaron, Shawna, and Dan. Always good to see my Seattle crew! Also had a great date during my trip as well! Jamila met up with us at the Water Pump bar in Ballard for some karaoke. I am once again going to be flexing my dj/kj muscles in early May for my friend Shawna's 40th birthday bash-should be fun! Also in May I am going to be attending the Spokane Comic Con in you guessed it....SPOKANE!! I am going to be selling prints of my artwork and hopefully making some decent change from that!!
I am hopefully going to be doing two more cons on top of that. The Crypticon horror convention in Everett in June and the Jet City Comic Con in Seattle in September. I have fully dropped MySpace as I had mentioned at the beginning of this blog. I can now be found here, Facebook,Twitter, and on deviantart.com as an artist. Also this year I have had the good pleasure of being in the sure to be indy hit flick "Fantastic Stan Goes To Hell" by Knapp Broths. Ent. . I have two roles in the film and that's all I'm saying right now. If you want to know then you have to twist my arm ;) Anywho, it was a great deal of fun and great to be acting again. I haven't acted since high school drama class back in 92/93.
I am currently working on a comic book with my good friend Ben "1314" Hansen. It is a horror comic called "Diner Of The Dead". We hope to have the book done and in the can by late summer/ early fall. I will let everyone know when we have locked a publisher, where to buy it, etc,etc... Ben and I are both doing the drawing and writing duties on this bad boy. We are very proud of this project and hope all of you and the masses will dig it as well!
I can't believe as of this writing that my daughter is 1 year old! Just seems like yesterday that she was born!! Scarlett is truly an amazing baby that never fails to astound me everyday with things she is picking up on. I know that the sky is the limit for her in the future! I haven't been going out to karaoke like I used to obviously with fatherhood and of course working crazy retail store hours like I do. When I do go though I like to make it special and a lot of fun like this past weekend! Quality over quantity I say. It's just an unfortunate thing that the whatcom county area has become very dry for karaoke. The only constant quality show for the most part is The Fairhaven bar shows on wensday nights. Most other hosts in the area are either drug addicts or have shitty run down equipment that they refuse to fix.
Well this has been fun and I will definetly be doing a lot more of this in the days, weeks, months to come.
Cheers!
